New Delhi Morning Tour

This is the perfect tour for any early bird! Getting up in the wee hours of the morning and watching Delhi slowly come to life is an experience unlike any other. Our first stop is at the lush Lodi Gardens, where you’ll be able to explore a rich Mughal architectural tradition amongst the greenery. Then we’ll head over to Lutyens’ Delhi, a gorgeous neighborhood and a perfect example European urban planning, constructed during the British Raj period. Many important Indian government officials live in this quarter including the president, whose magnificent residence is another sight on our tour. A brief ride down the famous Rajpath will take us to India Gate, a memorial built to India’s fallen soldiers and a source of great pride for our nation. After a short history lesson we’ll head to the Sikh Bangla Sahib Temple where you’ll get to witness Indian spirituality up close. While here you’ll see the profound impact the Sikh community has on the wellbeing of our city by feeding thousands of people for free daily, and you’ll even get a chance to help out in the kitchen! We’ll wrap up with a perfect cozy cup of chai in a local home, a customary Indian ritual and a sweet ending to a special morning.
