This tour is the right blend of popular attractions and local experiences of India. It is an absolute must for any tourist who visits this country. We will pick you up from your hotel in the morning and head off to Agra via the Yamuna Expressway. The four hour long drive consists of a stopover at a local village halfway through the trip. Here, you will be served a nice hot cup of chai (tea) and you will get a peek into what genuine rural Indian life looks like. Two hours later, you will find yourself amidst the hustle bustle of the city of Agra. Here, you will get to see the Taj Mahal in all its glory which lives up to every visitor's expectations. After visiting the Taj Mahal and learning of its dramatic history, we will enjoy a truly local experience with lunch at a private home in Agra, where you will get to taste and learn how an Indian meal is prepared.
Post-lunch, you can choose which places to visit in Agra. We can head off to the impressive Agra fort, which was the throne of the Mughal dynasty in India till the 17th century. Or we could visit Mother Teresa's Charity Home where you will get to meet and interact with some lovely children under the care of this home. Lastly, we could even show you around Agra's famous markets if you're interested in a little shopping.
Since this is a private tour, we can always customize the tour to fit your interests. We can take a day trip to Agra and return on the same day. We also give you the option of staying there overnight if there are many things that you wish to see and bring you back to Delhi the next day.
We will design the tour to ensure you have a wonderful experience with us. At the end of the day, we want you to have a fun-filled visit, brought to you by your very own locals of Delhi.
