Golden Triangle Tour
Golden Triangle Tour
In this tour we will immerse you in Indian history and culture. We will take you through some of India’s most beautiful destinations: Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. However, we want to give you more than just a normal tourist experience.
Delhi is not only the capital of India; it is the heart of India, where you will find excitement at every turn. On this first day, we will go exploring on a walk through the ancient streets of Old Delhi, putting you right in the midst of our vibrant and diverse culture. Each monument will tell you about a different episode of our eventful history. And of course, a hot steaming cup of chai with some heart-warming Indian hospitality in a local Indian home will make you feel right at home.
The next day, we will head to Agra, stopping at a local village along the way. As 68% of our country lives in villages, our visit will give you an authentic experience of rural Indian life. In Agra, we will take you to the throne of the Mughals. There are no words to describe the immense history and architecture of the Agra Fort and of course, the world’s most famous monument of love: the Taj Mahal. For lunch, we will visit a homestay, where you will not only eat, but also learn how a classic Indian meal is prepared.
Our next stop is Jaipur, the “Pink City”. It is the land of Rajputs (warriors) and houses some of the world’s most beautiful forts. Hawa Mahal, Amer Fort, and the City Palace will all take you back in time, to when kings and queens inhabited the city. The Jaipur marketplace is the perfect place to shop for all kinds of souvenirs.
So come with us and forget your worries for four days to explore the real India where multiple religions and faiths co-exist. Hindus, Sikhs, Christians and Muslims still follow ancient ways of life, celebrating festivals and fairs as their forefathers did. Philosophy and religion determine all aspects of life, from birth to death. Village and agricultural life follow traditional patterns, governed by the seasons. Traditional artisans and craftsmen still work in guilds, creating beautiful handmade artifacts. The bazaars are teeming with handicrafts, spices, fruits, vegetables, colorful fabrics, dresses, jewellery and household wares. Vendors serve up a wide range of spicy street food; confectioners cook up traditional delicacies, and yes, cows and camels do wander about the streets! The Golden Triangle tour is packed with a lot of fun. It is a private tour and can hence be customized to fit your interests. We will design it in a way that ensures your visit to India is an enjoyable and memorable one.
